ADMATEL Opens its Advanced Testing Labs at the Juan Science, One Nation NSTW 2016
The Advanced Device and Materials Testing Laboratory (ADMATEL), DOST’s newest advanced testing laboratory opened its facilities to Guests and Visitors from various industry sector, government agencies, students (college and senior high school), MSMEs, LGUs, and individuals yesterday as Day 1 of the weeklong NSTW 2016 at Bicutan Science Community, Bicutan, Taguig City. NSTW visitors and participants will have the opportunity to enter into its world class 100K Cleanroom Laboratories showcasing the latest and advanced analytical testing equipment such as the Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), Focus Ion Beam Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FIB-FSEM), Time of Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer (TOF-SIMS), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Low and High Power Optical Microscopes. Aside from a laboratory tour, visitors and students will also have the opportunity to know the latest 3D Print Technologies- MakerBot, ZMorph, Airwolf3D and CoLiDo introduced by Arrowfil Technologies, Inc. and Wifi enabled Carl Zeiss Optical Microscopes with built-in camera ( materials science and biological ) by Macare.
ADMATEL renders quality testing services to our local semiconductor and electronics industry and other industries that meet complex challenges on failure analysis, inspection, identification of micro and nano level contamination and characterization of various materials such as semiconductor devices and products, thin films, plastics, coatings, composites, corrosion and products of oxidation, chemical compounds, etc.
